Fall 2022 Semester Report

It is our pleasure to share our inaugural semester report with you. This was our first semester deploying capital and our third semester since we were founded. Our learning curve has been steep but meaningful. As we progress from initiating coverage and executing trades to tracking and exiting investments, we are forced to educate ourselves and think on our feet. Establishing RNEF is a true test of our grit, and we owe it to ourselves and our supporters to be intellectually honest and relentless in the pursuit of returns. In this letter, we would like to briefly share our portfolio’s performance, provide our macro and energy transition coverage, and end with a reflection and outline for intended operational changes.
